I believe it is important for each program to discuss outreach efforts since most if not all show underused fund. For this, it is important to understand why people are having a hard time accessing services while at the same time programs' funding is underused. Successful outreach is an effective way to connect people to services.
SLC Diana.Miller@ssa.sccgov.org
01:07:00
Are these programs connected or separate?
SLC Ana Gabriela
01:07:20
IHOT should be discussed in future presentation, all outreach efforts by each program.

Ana, I agree on outreach. Because so many programs are only allowed to take clients by referral from the County, in most cases, the outreach refers to outreach to engage a client that has been referred to your agency. There is not a lot of support for outreach to identify clients in need.

Hello Gabby, thank you for advocating for limiting jail time and replace this with supportive services. How would you achieve this while at the same time not limiting victims' access to justice. In 2011, ex husband, law enforcement engage in child porn watch which I reported to authority. He engaged in DV during our legal separation, spousal financial abuse, and in 2019, he attempted to choke our biological daughter. He has never been in jail. He lives with OCD and other MH conditions. How is protecting his right to not me in jail protecting me or my daughter for actual harm. Our physical, mental, financial, and career advancement have been negatively impacted by his own MH and criminal behavior. How is this justice per your deflection understanding?
SLC Ana Gabriela
01:38:01
As a MH & addiction Intake coordinator and group clinician I served incarcerated individuals. Some of them were there for felonies other for minor crimes. Are you proposing deflection for all including violent crimes such as Felony DV and sexual crimes?
